Here are some pictures from our Christmas experience this year. All in all, we have been having a great time as a family. Hopefully these pictures convey some of the joy that we have been sharing. Enjoy...
Here are Cheryl and I at a Christmas party in our neighborhood. Don't I have a beautiful bride?

Ashley and Brooke were Christmas carolers at the same party. Here they are singing in the front yard, greeting people as they arrived:

Ashley played her cello in a string trio at our church's Christmas Eve services. Here she is playing, along with friends Eric (viola) and Alyssa (violin):

I had a great time mixing sound for the services this year. Here I am at the console...

Christmas morning brought with it a friendly wakeup call from Alfredo!

Ashley made the most amazing photo collage for Brooke (just like Laurie and Kristin used to do for each other...) Here are the girls together with the final product. The last words of the quote read, "...don't know what I'd do without you."

Cheryl received a very nice karaoke system that she will be able to use in her vocal studio. It was kinda big...

Cheryl and the girls gave me a top-of-the-line heart rate monitor, and an awesome frame containing my triathlon and marathon medals along with bib numbers and other things -- kind of a tribute to my 2005 athletic events...

Brooke's big present this year was a new screamin' red trombone. Doesn't it fit her personality?

Ashley received a Dell laptop computer. Since the elves in Round Rock, Texas, couldn't finish assembly in time, Ash just received a "certificate of entitlement". Oh well...

Even with tough circumstances surrounding our season, this has really been a Christmas filled with far more GOOD memories than BAD. We are blessed with friends, family, great weather, good health, and most importantly the love and hope that only comes from our God. So many reasons to be thankful.

Love that trombone! Thanks for letting us see a glimpse of Texas Christmas. Will be sending you a CD of IL Christmas and calendar from Aunt Gail and Bob. Now go celebrate the beginning of a new year that we trust will hold blessings for all of us. Love, Mom
