Last night we celebrated our dear Brooke's Sweet Sixteen Birthday, and what a nice night it was! After she had had a fun day at school with lots of singing (and some gifts) from friends, the four of us went out to KLCC, had a great Lebanese dinner, then enjoyed the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra, before finally heading home to see an AWESOME birthday tribute video produced by our very good friend Jordan Hall. In all, this was a great night!
Can you believe how grown up and beautiful our Brooke is? She is wearing 4" high heels in the picture above, which makes her miles taller than Cheryl and just about as tall as me! She is blessed with an adorable personality that (as we just were saying last week) always sees the BEST in people. Brooke has now learned how to play guitar, and loves to sing with her big sis Ashley almost every night. She is playing soccer on the JV team, and is off to a great start in school this year -- our new sophomore at ISKL.
Tomorrow (or the day after!) I'll post the link to Brooke's Birthday Video on this blog. You will love it -- an 18-minute, 172-image spectacular which chronicles the many happy days and memories our grown-up 16-year old has already had. SO, Happy Birthday, Brooke. I love you more than burnt potato chips and flat Coke!
