I don't know if many of you have noticed, but I recently added a link to my blog. If you look to the right, you'll see a link titled, "Kuala Lumpur Daily Photo". After you read this post, go look at that site. It's incredible. For some of you who may think KL is just a dirty developing city, this blog proves otherwise. The author, Edwin, makes a point of taking at least a photo per day, and posting on the blog. Some of the photos are simply breathtaking. Obviously, he has a keen eye for art, and I love it.
So, go take a look. The photo at the top of this post is not mine -- it's his from last Monday. What a gorgeous shot of one of the Twin Towers. It's nice to see art like this posted daily. Makes me happy to be enjoying this city in this part of the world at this time in my life.

yay art! the picture looks great on your black background. art in all of its forms can be so useful to adjust my perspective or remind me to look up once in a while.
it is important for us to keep in mind that we are still in the midst of an amazing adventure. we are in full swing with school, work, and travel schedules, and like everyone else we could be consumed in the logistics of getting through the day. BUT, we are still in a foreign country full of unique sights, smells, and sounds. lots left to discover; it is essential to stop and look around now and then!
