KL House Hunt -- SINGAPORE Edition

Well, no photos with today's edition. Cheryl and I have traveled today from KL to Singapore to attend some social / business gatherings with my new colleagues here in the PAFE (Pacific Asia Far East) region.

The day began with a fun shopping run through the Central Market in KL. We purchased some awesome souvenirs and other items for our return journey to the States. Our flight to Singapore was quite uneventful, but upon collecting our bags, we saw that not only had my suitcase sustained damage (a broken wheel), about a gallon of water had been dumped onto it, leaving half my clothes "soggy". We filled out the necessary paperwork, and hopefully Singapore Airlines will "do the right thing" and make proper amends.

Singapore is a beautiful city / country. Everything is spotlessly clean here, and there is a sense of pride that you just don't find in the USA. We're staying at the Regent Singapore, which is an amazing hotel all of its own. Tomorrow morning we hope to take a run through the Singapore Botantical Garden, which is just next to the hotel.

SO, we finished up the KL segment of the trip just fine. Our chosen house will work great, and we're so excited about the International School for our girls. We read more of their stuff on the plane, and ISKL is going to be something we won't forget. Ash and Brooke are going to love that place (or so we think / hope).

Have a great Saturday...
