KL House Hunting - Day One

Well, we've just finished Day One of house hunting here in Kuala Lumpur. Our relocation hosts have done a great job of explaining the area to us, and giving us several interesting options.

If you'd like to see photos of the houses we saw today (complete with witty captions), just click here.

The last house was by far the best. Five bedrooms, five bathrooms, two kitchens, and maids quarters... Location was also very nice -- close to the international school and a train station. The international school was amazing; we think Ash & Brooke are going to love it. Everyone was friendly; the features were most impressive; and the quality of education seems to be superior by any measure.

Tomorrow we'll see some more places. For now, it's time to get some dinner and get ready for Day Two.

Beautiful houses. I couldn't help but laugh at your comment about the lower cooktop. Do you think that maybe the owner was a short order cook? HA!

Please keep taking pictures. It's exciting to learn about how other people live.

Good luck with finding the perfect house!

Great pictures! Thanks for your comments too. It helps to learn about other cultures. I thought it was interesting that there are no carpeted rooms, a wet & dry kitchen, ovens are an option, etc. I checked your blog every day anyways but now I can't wait to see what info you've posted about your new adventure. Hope day 2 goes well. The weather looks fabulous over there. Travel safe.
